Spent 4 hours sewing together the muslin of the suede "vest" bodice. Made about 3 versions of the collar before I got the right shape. The ease seems to be good, the armholes seem to be about the right drop and balance for this size dummy, and all the pattern pieces match up perfectly, so my pattern is final for this piece, minus the sleeves and sleeve caps. I will probably make an extenstion for the right side back as I plan to have chinese ball button closures. Below are pictures of my muslin bodice, with the design drawn onto the front and back yoke.
