Star Wars: Fit for a Queen

The Phantom Menace: Aurra Sing is a successful bounty hunter who specializes in Jedi assassinations, having herself trained as a Jedi for a time. She wears a functional red bodysuit with a leather vest and boots. Her minimalist attire is contrasted by the extensive weaponry she carries: two blasters, a projectile rifle, and multiple lightsabers taken as trophies from the Jedi she has killed. She also has a sensor implant attached to her skull that increases her sensory preception and aids in hunting prey.

Design: Aurra Sing began life as drawing by Doug Chiang entitled "Babe Fett." She was added to the Phantom Menace late in production and has only a few seconds of screen time. Her scene took less than a day to film, though model/actress Michonne Bourriague was in make-up for six hours. Her striking appearance captured fans' interest, though, and Aurra Sing has since appeared in many Star Wars comics and books.
