Voting will last until February 12th, but start voting now! You will also be able to vote for the third place hairstyle, which is between the Return Home Gown and the Dressing Gown. Another little update today, as the midterm and paper for next week are keeping me busy. But I redid the Throne Room Gown page with lots of new/better quality pictures. Here are some of the highlights: full-length, 3/4 view, and screencap. I also found this really interesting make-up chart which shows exactly what went on with Amidala's make-up. Cool stuff! I absolutely love this costume, so I hope you like the new pictures!

Also, voting for this semi-final round of the Tournament ends on Monday! The match-ups are close, so please vote if you haven't already! The final will begin on Monday, and I will also be expanding the site with some new characters next week!

School has picked up slightly so I don't have a huge update for tonight. But I did revamp the Revelation Gown page with some new behind the scenes pictures and screencaps, such as this one and this one and this one. The Revelation Gown has never been my favorite, but working on the pictures tonight, I did come to appreciate it more. It is pretty neat! So poke around and enjoy, and a more substantial update will be coming soon!

Today is a mishmash kind of update, as I'm getting caught up with a bunch of things. First, Annarwaya sent in two great new Attack of the Clones behind the scenes pictures. The first one is of Dorme and the second is of Padme sleeping. Thanks so much Annarwaya! And while adding those, I also revamped the Coruscant Nightdress page a bit with some new screencaps, and found this larger version of an old picture of Dorme.

GentleBant, from the Royal Handmaiden Society, sent in another great picture of her adventures as a handmaiden in the Rose Parade. This time, it's an amazing shot of the Flame Gown's undersleeve. Her explanation of the sleeves has been added to her full analysis. Thanks, GB! And a big thank you also goes to sldaly for sending in new concept art of Princess Leia. Very cool!

And I wanted to point out this new Padme action figure that's just been released. It's of her animated Snow Bunny outfit, but it's been rendered realistically which is interesting to see. Here's the figure with the cape and without it. Many thanks for Ben for pointing out the pictures!

I've added the last significant Leia costume tonight: her Endor Battle Uniform! It's not her most exciting costume, but there are some good pictures available (especially the behind the scenes pictures - some of them are really cute). Here are some of my favorite pictures of it: Black and white, Carrie and Mark goofing off, and Carrie and Mark goofing off again. Sorry for the short gap in posting - I ended up going away for four days! So I appreciate everyone sitting tight. Two things today. First, it's time for the second-to-last round of the Tournament! There are only two match-ups this time, but they determine the two finalists - so go vote now! And here are the results from the last round:

I haven't updated anything handmaidens in a bit, so I decided to give them some love tonight. I rescanned some images of Motee's Senate Gown from the Chronicles book: Close-up, Full-length, Back view, Brooch detail, Collar detail

Also, GentleBant, who is one of the leading members of the wonderful Royal Handmaiden Society was selected by Lucasfilm to march in the recent Star Wars Spectacular in the Rose Parade. She got to wear a Lucasfilm replica of the Flame Gown, which I think is so great since she is a handmaiden fan! She took a bunch of pictures and wrote up a detailed analysis of the costume, which she so kindly shared with me. I've updated two Padme pages tonight: the Nightgown and Robe and the Aqua Nightgown, both of which were badly in need of an update! Also, the Official Site has another Rose Parade update worth checking out. They added a ton of new pictures of the 'Star Wars Spectacular,' including pictures of the floats during the Parade, close-ups of the Queen in the Packing Gown (I still can't find the third Queen!), and a close-up of Leia. Well, I'm back at school gearing up for another term. Which means I will be more busy than I have been in December, so the site won't get quite as much attention. It will still gets lots, I promise, but I do have to study and such (unfortunately.) Anyways, a great video of the Star Wars Spectacular in the Rose Parade has been posted to YouTube, so I wanted to share the link: Star Wars Spectacular - Rose Parade 2007. It's fun to check out - lots of different (replica) costumes, such as the Senate Gown, Packing Gown, Flame Gown, Luminara Unduli, Aayla Secura, Obi-Wan, Han Solo, etc. It's NBC's coverage, since ABC's - which is what I watched - was pretty lame. And there is also an article up on the Official Site, with 50 behind the scenes pictures. Check that out here!

Happy New Years, everyone! I really can't believe it's 2007... The past year went by so quickly. Before I get on to the update, I just want to say thank you to everyone who has visited the site. 2006 was Fit for a Queen's best year yet, and that had so much to do with everyone's comments, votes, wallpapers, drawings, emails, icons, dolls, etc. Thank you all so much, and as always, please email me with any feedback!
