Super exciting news today with the release of the brand new Clone Wars trailer! You absolutely must check it out. I think it looks just great - the animation is amazing, the mood is all atmospheric, the music is haunting, and it makes me so excited to see more! And there is only just over two months left until its release!

Most especially exciting about the trailer is that Padme is in it, albeit if only for about a second! Here are some high-def screencaps I made:










So she is wearing the Arena Outfit, but with the hood that was cut from AotC and which can be seen here and here. What amuses me is that the Arena Outfit was thoroughly destroyed in AotC. Padme must have liked the outfit so much that she went back and bought a new one! ;)

I will have more high-def screencaps of the Clone Wars trailer within the next few days, but in the meantime here is one more:



Asajj is such a badass - I absolutely love her (and her costume is pretty sweet). Her lightsaber duel with Obi-Wan is going to be amazing!

Lastly for tonight, I wanted to highlight two upcoming Padme products. First, the Padme Evolutions action figure set. It's always great to see new Padme action figures (even if the forearms on the Veranda Nightgown figure would rival King Kong's). The packaging for this set also includes a new (I believe) picture of the Pre-Senate gown. Thanks to Ben again for this info!

And there is also two fabulous new Star Wars fashion sets being released for Star Wars weekends in Disney World. Check out the Official Site and Endor Express for pictures. Call me five years old, but I really want both of these. They are adorable and all costume related - how can I resist?

I've added a bunch of new pictures, including high def trailer screencaps, to the Clone Wars page. These pictures feature Ahsoka Tano, Asajj Ventress, and Obi-Wan. Here are some of the highlights:

A bunch of people have asked me to add this feature before, and I am happy to finally debut the Fit for a Queen Forum! I figured that with both Indiana Jones and the Clone Wars coming up this would be a good time to start it! You know you're going to want to chat about both of those movies ;)

I'm not expecting it to have tons and tons of posters, so I'm keeping it consolidated to a handful of threads to keep them active. But I'm hoping that at least all you regular commentators will post (though, of course, everyone is welcome)!

A new character has been added to the site: Jedi-killing bounty hunter Aurra Sing! I've always thought she was a very visually interesting character, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a good number of pictures of her. So go check them out!

And since this site is and always will be a Padme site first and foremost, here are some better quality pictures from The Phantom Menace:

So I am very excited about the upcoming Clone Wars movie, as I've said before. And I am fully intending to add as many Clone Wars pictures as I possibly can. So here are some new pictures for tonight, courtesy of the Official Site and IGN:

Padme: 1, 2, 3

I wasn't sure before, but you can tell now that that costume is obviously a slightly modified Arena Outfit, which is both kinda cool (I love the Arena Outfit!) and kinda lame (I want new costumes!) But I am just happy we are seeing Padme in this movie, if only for a short time. The second set of pictures is of the new character, Jedi Ahsoka Tano. I've always loved the background female Jedi from the Prequels, so I think it's great Ahsoka is going to be a main character. Here are some pictures of her, including some high-res screencaps I made from the Clone Wars trailer:

Hello again - I'm trying to get caught up with all the things I am behind on. First step - new banner and colors for spring/summer! I'm really happy with the way this banner turned out; I didn't really have a plan for it, it just kind of happened. I hope you guys like it too.

Also, I've added a new poll to the right, about the Expanded Universe. The last option is basically my answer... I am still kind of bitter, I won't lie. But anyways, here are the results from the last poll:

I have been a terrible webmiss the past few months! I'm really sorry about it. I would never abandon this site (it is my baby) but real life has been really busy for me of late. I let myself lapse a bit in updating and then it just became really hard to get back into the flow - it's harder to make time now that I'm working full time as opposed to being a student.

So yes, apologies for my absenteeism! I am working on it, and working on updates again too. In the meantime, be sure to check out the hd trailer for the Clone Wars:
